In “Layer Cake Studio”, we change the way people think about Photography. There is a wide belief that “Painting/Drawing” is a more expressive and flexible art than “Photography”, since a painter is ultimately free to reflect – and normally he does –his feelings and thoughts in his work, while Photography is only a means to capture a snapshot of plain reality.

Layer Cake Photography, or “LCP”, is a relatively new art that combines Painting/Drawing and Photography altogether, adding creative tools/features and new dimensions to conventional photography, that transform it into something very close to “Painting/Drawing” in terms of both expressions and impressions.

In LCP, the notion of “capturing plain reality” has no context. As in Painting, the Photoshop is the “canvas”, while the camera is the “brush”. The result is a photo reflecting whatever feelings, emotions, and/or thoughts, beyond actual plain reality.
